Our Certificated Employee of the Month recognition goes to two outstanding sixth-grade teachers at Stanley Elementary School: Danelle Martinez who joined the district as a teacher at Stanley in 2013 and Carrie Marquez who taught in the district from 2000-2006 and then returned to teach at Stanley in 2022! Nominated by both staff and parents, these exceptional educators are celebrated for their unwavering dedication to student success and their ability to bring out the very best in their students.

Danelle and Carrie are masters of their craft, combining exceptional instructional practices with a genuine commitment to helping every student succeed. Together, they are ensuring that Stanley's sixth graders leave elementary school with the academic skills, confidence, and strong foundation they need to thrive in intermediate school and beyond. Jean Wasinger

Our Classified Employee of the Month is Jean Wasinger, who joined the district in 1999 as a School Office Clerk at Hare High School, where she has proudly served for more than 27 years. Jean was nominated for this recognition by colleagues who describe her as someone who leads with heart and puts students first in everything she does.
Affectionately known as “Mama Jean,” she is cherished for the genuine care and compassion she extends to students, staff, and families alike. A dedicated servant leader with an exceptional work ethic, Jean has spent decades going above and beyond to support the Hare High School community. Whether fulfilling her responsibilities as a guidance clerk or stepping in wherever an extra hand is needed, Jean is someone her colleagues can always count on.
Her kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to others have helped create the close-knit, family atmosphere that makes Hare High School so special. Anyone who knows Jean knows that she is truly the heart of the Hare Huskies family. Congratulations, Jean, on this well-deserved recognition!
